It was so easy to get an estimate and very fair price from here! Joshua himself came out in less than 30 mins of initial contact and walked the property with me. He listened to my concerns with the property, assured me his crew was more than capable for the terrain, and even knew what kind of specialty grass that was planted there (zorzia when I'd been calling it zoya]. Then a quick email to confirm all that we had talked about with the property so both sides had a physical copy of what we agreed on and first thing Monday morning his crew was out there going above and beyond what we had initially talked about. This company has a very pleased customer and i plan on using them for years to come after just one mow. 10/10 guys. Great work!

Mr. Starnes came out very quickly to give us an estimate for yard cleanup. He was very polite, professional and knowledgeable and gave me a verbal estimate and followed up the next day via email with written proposal/contract for the work we want to have done, which we scheduled for later this week.
Our previous lawncare company shutdown mid season and left us hanging. After several No Shows from other people we found Starnes Hardscapes on Facebook. Josh came out when he said he would and gave me a fair estimate and date he could do it. He and his crew showed up as he said he would and did a much better job than any company previously. As a matter of fact we are going to use him for several yard improvement projects that we have. We highly recommend Starnes Hardscapes and Property Management.
I inquired about service on a Tuesday morning. By the end of the day I had the owner doing a walkaround with me and providing a proposal. Schedule availability worked in my favor and the next morning the team was on site getting started. I couldn't be more pleased with the finished product by the end of the day. In this type of business it's not often you find young motivated individuals, with a strong work ethic that see the importance of timeliness, communication, and customer service as the priority. We all have room for improvements, but hands down this is one of the best experiences I have had dealing with any of the trade industries supporting my community. I look forward to my continued relationship with Josh and his team. We need more small business owners who are willing to actually put the time and effort into the basics to be successful.
I am on board of Fredonia Mountain Nature Resort and Starnes does all the mowing, plant trimming, upkeep/mulching of beds, removing of dead plants and planting new ones. His costs are reasonable and he truly wants to fo a good job. He aldo has done all sorts of landscaping work for individual owners in the development as well as for me personally. He does this while being professional yet personal. I don't think twice on giving him a good reference.
